prince george's county

Prince George’s County, or “PG County” as it is more commonly known, lies directly east of Washington, DC and is Maryland’s second most populous county. Its nearly 500 square miles include the towns of Laurel, Beltsville, Largo, Bowie, College Park, Upper Marlboro, Fort Washington, and Greenbelt. Popular PG County points of interest include the University of Maryland, the MGM National Harbor’s hotel, casino, shops, restaurants, and outlets, NASA-Goddard Space Flight Center, Fort Washington, and Joint Base Andrews, home of Air Force One. House hunters will find a variety of options in Prince George’s County, from the more rural areas of Fort Washington and Accokeek, to the bustling suburbs of Bowie and Largo, to the sleek new waterfront condo communities at the National Harbor. PG County is served by Metro’s popular Green, Orange, Silver, and Blue lines and offers easy access to the Capital Beltway, Interstate 95, and Route 50.
